Dark and Bright optical solitons in Non-linear Schrödinger Equation: The Decomposition method

Abstract

In this paper we have introduced an elegant approximation scheme called the decomposition method for solving the Non-linear Schrödinger type of equations. We show that, the methodology provides a systematic way to find bright and dark soliton solutions of the NLS equation.
