Lasing from quasi-one-dimensional random lattices of multiple resonators

Abstract

We experimentally investigate lasing from quasi-one-dimensional random lattices of amplifying resonators. The transfer matrix method is used to simulate the passive system, which suggests the origin of lasing as disorder-induced photon localization.
