Abstract

Optical properties of the aluminium nanoparticle in multi-coupled configurations were investigated by means of finite difference time domain (FDTD) computational method. We demonstrate the potential of the proposed structures for plasmon-enhanced spectroscopy and Raman sensing in UV region with large near-field enhancement.
