Chalcogenide glass as a nonlinear dielectric in a nonlinear metamaterial structure

Abstract

We theoretically investigate using of Chalcogenide glasses in a metamaterial structure and obtain an intensity dependent magnetic permeability. We also numerically investigate the role of the dielectric used in a fishnet metamaterial structure at microwave wavelengths.
