Novel Fabry-Perot resonant plasmonic crystals for nanophotonic applications

Abstract

Plasmon mediated enhancement in the local field has wide practical applications. Here we report novel structures, suitable for trapping applications, which support Fabry–Perot plasmonic modes in the horizontal cavity formed inside the slits.
