Abstract

We experimentally and theoretically demonstrate optoelectronic OR, AND, NOR and NAND logic gates with multiple pulsed pump laser beams based on the photovoltaic response of bacteriorhodopsin molecules embedded in a polyvinyl matrix coated on ITO.
