Light Trapping Nanostructure Design for Absorption Enhancement in Amorphous Silicon Thin Film Solar Cell

Abstract

We design an amorphous Si thin film solar cell using cosinusoid ITO and ellipsoid metal nanostructure for dual light trapping. 23.74mA/cm2 short circuit current density is achieved which is 31.3% higher than flat structure.
