Combined Optical and Electrical Modeling of Plasmon-Enhanced Organic Photovoltaic Devices

Abstract

We report combined optical and electrical modeling of plasmon-enhanced organic photovoltaic devices. Various nanostructures including simple grating and MIM grating were investigated. Nonlinearity in carrier recombination could limit enhancement in photocurrent at high light levels.
