Light trapping in thin film silicon solar cells with mono and bidimensional photonic patterns

Abstract

We investigate light trapping in thin film silicon solar cells with 1D and 2D photonic patterns. Absorbance and short-circuit current density are calculated with scattering matrix formalism and compared with Lambertian limits.
