Achieving the Yablonovitch Limit in Thin-Film Solar Cells with Tailored Randomly Textured Interfaces

Abstract

In this contribution we show how the Yablonovitch limit can be reached and eventually exceeded in thin-film solar cells by incorporating randomly textured surfaces with a critical dimension in the order of hundred nanometers.
