Abstract

We propose a Photonic-Crystal, Rectenna and Quantum-dot hybrid paradigm to augment the state-of-the-art Solar-photovoltaic (PV) conversion efficiency by an additional 15-25% via harvesting the ultra-long (IR) as well as the ultra-short (UV) wavelength photons.
