Easily Installable Optical Power Equalizing Subsystem for Quick Lightpath Establishment in Conventional Networks

Abstract

We developed an easily installable optical power equalizing subsystem and demonstrated in a field trial that the subsystem is suitable for flexible optical networks with reducing a lightpath establishment time by more than 10 seconds.
