Silicon Reconfigurable Optical Switch based on Dual-ring Assisted Mach-Zehnder Interferometers

Abstract

We review our recent progress on optical switches with dual-ring assisted MZIs as the basic building blocks. The switch features high-speed, low-power operation due to the resonance enhancement of the phase shift in MZI arms.
