Abstract

We report the performance of a prototype hybrid optoelectronic router for multi-hop transmission. A packet loss rate<10-10 due to label processing errors and BER<10-9 are achieved for up to four hops. These results, combined with the proposed TTL-based multi-hop transmission scheme, allow unlimited multi-hop transmission through the OPS network.
