High power pico-second output from a diode-pumped Nd:YVO4 phase conjugate laser

Abstract

We demonstrated a high power pico-second output from a diode pumped Nd:YVO4 slab amplifier with a Rh:BaTiO3 phase conjugate mirror. Over 25W diffraction-limited output was obtained. This system could also produce MW ps pulses.
