Nanoparticle Doped Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Photorefractives

Abstract

The gain characteristics of liquid crystal photorefractive cells doped with ferroelectric nanoparticles has been measured. Gain coefficients up to 1000 cm−1 are obtained in the Bragg regime using the surface space-charge field from Ce:SBN windows.
