Abstract

We predict a giant surface-plasmon-induced drag-effect rectification (SPIDER). In nanowires, this giant SPIDER generates rectified THz potential up to 10V and electric fields up to 105 −106V/cm. The giant SPIDER is an ultrafast effect.
