Abstract

Nonlinear photoacoustic imaging is demonstrated by a pump-probe photoacoustic excitation scheme by using PPIX. The system has potentials to greatly facilitate deep-tissue photoacoustic theranostics as well as high resolution dynamic photoacoustic molecular imaging.
