Abstract

We show that octylamine-modified poly-(acrylic acid) is adopted to wrap hydrophobic upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs), and the UCNPs are further biofunctionalized and applied to integrate luminescence imaging with optical tweezers for detecting microRNA-21 sequences.
