Abstract

Highly efficient nanoprobes are desirable for good-performance photoacoustic molecular imaging. We present simulations of photoacoustic effect for plasmon-mediated nanoprobes based on finite element analysis, to provide deep understanding of the micromechanism of the photoacoustic conversion.
