Optical Tissue Diagnostics Based on Label-free, Functional Biomarkers

Abstract

Label-free, two photon imaging enables sensitive assessment of functional tissue properties, including cellular metabolism and collagen content and organization. Such biomarkers have the potential to transform the diagnosis and monitoring of numerous diseases, including cancer.
