Abstract
The holographic grating formation induced by an input pattern in company with a reference wave in a fullerene-doped nematic liquid crystal film were studied experimentally. The holographic grating was formed in the LC film at a low applied dc field 0.07V/^m. In experiment we employed a particular method in order to reconstruct the hologram, namely recorded the hologram under low voltage and reconstructed the hologram by high voltage. Evidence concerning the reconstruction of holograms indicates that this photorefractive liquid crystal can, indeed, serve as a hologramrecording medium.
