Two-way picture transferring by means of photorefractive phenomenon

Abstract

Picture transferring between different locations finds application in many fields such as medical picture archiving & communication, mobile phone communication and satellite telecommunication. Of course, we can transfer a picture between different locations by means of electronic computer technology. However, it is interesting to try to accomplish this transferring it using other alternative ways. Optical technology offers a means to do this.
