Terahertz Time Domain Measurements of Marine Paint Thickness

Abstract

The suitability of time-domain THz methods for non-contact measurements of marine paint thickness was investigated. Under laboratory conditions a 95% confidence interval of 120 nm was observed when a 134 µm thick film was measured
