Normal subject breast imaging with a portable near infrared tomographic imaging system

Abstract

A portable hybrid frequency domain (FD) - continuous wave (CW) Near-Infrared spectroscopy NIRS system has been developed for breast imaging. Physiologically reasonable values of chromophore concentrations were recovered for normal subject measurements.
