Sensitivity and Specificity of US-guided diffuse optical tomography in conjunction with conventional US

Abstract

The total hemoglobin and oxygenated-hemoglobin concentrations measured by Ultrasound-guided diffuse optical tomography can be used as an adjunct to Ultrasound to improve sensitivity to 96.5-100% and negative predictive value to 100% in breast cancer diagnosis.
