Visible light spectral domain optical coherence microscopy system for ex vivo brain imaging

Abstract

A spectral domain optical coherence microscopy system operating in the visible wavelength range was developed. With an ultrahigh axial resolution of 0.9 μm cerebral tissues from non-pathological and Alzheimer’s disease affected brains were investigated.
