Optical Trapping “Virometry”

Abstract

We present an optical trapping “virometry” that allows sorting of nanoscale particles such as viruses under physiological conditions. As an example, we use this technique to quantitate heterogeneities among individual HIV-1 virions at single-molecule resolution.
