Optoelectronic Tweezers as a Tool for Medical Diagnostics

Abstract

Optoelectronic Tweezers (OET) allows the patterning of electric fields by the selected illumination of a photoconductive device. This has many applications for medical diagnostics, here we show work towards diagnosing Human African Trypanosomiasis.
