Probing the Microstructure of Methylammonium Lead Iodide Solar Cells

Abstract

Using electron backscattered diffraction, we report on the crystal orientation in methylammonium lead iodide thin-films with sub-micrometer resolution. The crystal orientation correlates with the orientation of the ferroelectric polarization as investigated by piezoresponse force microscopy.
