Characterization of Optics for Concentrating Photovoltaic and Solar Thermal Applications

Abstract

An overview of experimental methods to characterize mirrors and lenses for the collection and concentration of sunlight is presented. For some optical properties several different measurement methods are described in literature. These are compared addressing advantages and limitations.
