Reflection losses from an evacuated tube in a CPC

Abstract

Knowing the reflection losses of evacuated tubes within CPCs is essential for solar collector performance modeling. Using ray-tracing we determined that the reflection loss varies between 12-20%, depending on the concentration ratio and incidence angle.
