Exploiting Internal Optics to Enhance the Performance of III-V Multijunction Solar Cells

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We describe our model of photon recycling effects in single and multijunction solar cells, and show how exploiting the internal optics in high radiative-efficiency cells leads to demonstrated record efficiencies and increased energy yield.
