A Solar Thermophotovoltaic Generation with a Monolithic Planar Absorber/emitter Material

Abstract

A planar absorber/emitter in solar thermophotovoltaic system reaches high temperature with a small concentration ratio because of low thermal radiation loss. Using this planar absorber/emitter, the net efficiency is estimated to be 21%.
