Theory of the “Inverse Method” for Characterization of Solar Concentrators

Abstract

The theory of “inverse method” applied to the optical characterization of solar concentrators is revisited. New optical quantities are introduced and the experimental procedure for measuring the on-axis absolute “direct” transmission efficiency is reported.
