PICASSO-CENA: Global Observations of Aerosols and Clouds from Lidar and Passive Instruments

Abstract

The PICASSO-CENA satellite will observe aerosols and clouds globally using the first satellite lidar dedicated to atmospheric sensing. PICASSO-CENA will fly in a polar orbit as part of the Aqua constellation to provide an unprecedented suite of satellite measurement capabilities.
