Femtosecond radiative decay of coupled excitons by radiation-induced interaction in ZnO thin films

Abstract

We investigated ultrafast optical response of coupled excitons in ZnO thin films by transient grating method. Femtosecond radiative decay via radiation-induced interaction between A and B excitons along with nonlocal interaction between light and exciton was observed in the film with mesoscopic thickness between nanometers and micrometers.
