Abstract

In-line holography has a problem of image reconstructed elongation in the optical axis direction. It is known that the elongation length depends on the diameter of recorded particles and the wavelength of light. In this study, the relationship between the particle diameter and the length elongation is evaluated by using synthetic particles in phase retrieval holography. An empirical equation is derived from the relationship to measure the distribution of particle diameter.
