Triplet Polaron Quenching in Conjugated Polymers

Abstract

Triplet-polaron quenching of PtOEP doped poly-spirobifluorene is investigated. From direct measurements of the phosphorescence lifetime under space charge limited conditions we derive a triplet polaron quenching constant of about 10−13 cm3 x s−1.
