A Single-Frequency, 2-cm, Yb-doped Silica Fiber Laser

Abstract

A single-frequency, 2-cm, ytterbium-doped silica fiber laser has been demonstrated with an output power of 35 mW and side-mode suppression ratio greater than 25 dB. The optical signal-to-noise ratio is greater than 65 dB.
