Abstract

Laparoscopic diffuse optical spectroscopy (DOS) is demonstrated with fiber-probes attached to a bipolar-device. The DOS spectra acquired over a 10mm fiber-separation differentiated a 4mm vessel or ureter simulating-structure at a 2mm-depth in tissue.
