Optical Imaging of Cancer and Inflammation in a Mouse Model of Colorectal Cancer

Abstract

Fluorescent contrast agents were topically applied in vivo to colon tissue in a mouse model of colorectal cancer. Excised tissue was imaged with confocal microscopy ex vivo to differentiate dysplasia from normal tissue and benign inflammatory lesions.
