Abstract

A series of photostable, hydrophilic and functional near infrared quaterrylenediimide-cored dendrimers (QR-4Gn-COOH, n=1-5) based on polyamides were developed. Preliminary in vitro fluorescence imaging of QR-4G5-COOH showed that the dendrimer was primarily located in cytoplasm.
