Whole-cell analysis of cardiomyocytes with combined quantitative phase and two-channel fluorescence microscopy

Abstract

We have developed a novel microscope combining quantitative phase and fluorescence microscopy to perform quantitative analysis of dynamic cardiomyocyte contraction. Phase-based parameters are informed by molecular specificity of fluorescence images.
