Abstract

Transparent diamond-like carbon thin films were made by radio frequency magnetron sputtering with methane and hexamethyldisiloxane as gas mixtures. Transmittance could reach 90 % with incorporation of hexamethyldisiloxane by increasing the silicon oxide structure.
