Transparent Dust Repellent Coating for Sapphire

Abstract

Anti-static coatings, based on a transparent conductive oxide (TCO), were deposited on sapphire windows. The relative transmission loss of widows coated with the TCO was about 5%, in contrast to uncoated sapphire which lost 20%.
