Abstract
We demonstrate a novel optical coating technology based on the liftoff and direct bonding of epitaxial semiconductor heterostructures. These “crystalline coatings” exhibit an unprecedented tenfold reduction in Brownian noise, enabling significant advancements in precision interferometry.
