A revisit to the effect of overcoat thickness on laser induced damage threshold of HfO2/SiO2 polarizers at 1064nm

Abstract

The delaminate occurred at higher laser irradiation with proper overcoat thickness in HfO2/SiO2 polarizers. Electric-field profile is analyzed to understand the relationship between the overcoat thickness, plasma scald and delaminate.
