Improved Characterization of Optical Surfaces from Scattered Light Measurements

Abstract

A generalized surface scatter theory results in an improved solution to the inverse scattering problem. This new solution eliminates undesirable artifacts in the surface PSD function predicted from the classical Rayleigh-Rice theory.
