Abrasive Polishing of Optical Surfaces Using Plate Spring Polisher with Oscillation

Abstract

We show the removal characteristics, such as the removal profile and surface smoothness, attained by our plate spring method. The effectiveness of the oscillation of the polisher in increasing the surface smoothness is demonstrated.
